Heigh-ho, merry-go.

Yaaaay! The panel for FC is on, thanks to Graveyard Greg agreeing to be a panelist along with me. So now I'm scraping all the shtuff together in preparation for going off to San Jose on the 19th. Wish me luck, people, for public speaking intimidates me and I don't know what the hell I'm doing. But I know I'll be doing it again for FC '07, so I suppose this is a practice run.

Ah... this is simply too weird. I finally looked up my grades from the last semester. I was confident I'd done fairly well - sure I'd get a crop of B's and perhaps an A or A- in one class. I was praying for a low B in one very hard class. And what greets my eyes when I sign on the college website? A sign of the impending doom of the world. It's never happened before. This is cool, but scary. Straight A's. Brrrr. I begin to wonder what alien parasite has taken up residency in my body. Or maybe I'm one of those android-replica thingies.

All axe-jokes aside, I find it interesting. It's Kaz's primary weapon. (Well, aside from the ones growing on her.) Granted, it's a minotaur sized one, but basically, that's what she has, a sword for both one hand or two. This as a result amused me.

Started using those weights now. Not much yet, just every day for a few minutes before work, but I can feel it. It's a good thing. It'll get better as I start increasing time and frequency.
