Why the last post didn't show up until now, I've no idea, other than this blog seems to do that now and again. Some bug somewhere that I've no patience or time to struggle with, so I leave it as it goes.

Hopping on the net at work before heading to lunch, I am surprised to learn of Steve Irwin's death. I sorrow for his wife and children, who must now continue on without their husband and father, which no one should have to do. I regret the loss of someone who did so much for animals and conservation, even if I couldn't watch his show more than ten minutes.

I can only hope to love my job as much as he did his. He was definitely a man who loved life, and he seemed to live every moment to the fullest. Hat's off to you, Steve.
